Sundary service

Sundary service is describe as the service which deal with various mails and messages as well as other miscall aneous service sundary service are the extra service provide to the guests for their convenience .The following are some of service provided by the hotel:
1.Handling guest mails:when guest stay in a hotel provide their family and clients ar customer the contact details of their of their hotel for any urgent communication. All then mail adreses to the hotel are received by the front office mails are divided into two parts.
2.Incoming mails:This mail is received by a hotel. The guest mails are delivered in the guest room by the bell boy . If guest is not in room the mail are placed in key rack.
3. Out going mails:This mail is send by any personal .The hotel provides the services of collecting the mails from the guest room and positing them the charges for the services are added to the guest account.

Registration

It can be defined ad the process of assigning rooms to the guest at the time of their arrival by filling necessary details about the guest the guest and the room contained in a registration form guest registration form is used for registration of the guest in the hotel which acts as a source of information about guest and act as a legal proof for both hotel and the guests.In small hotel and the registration book is maintained by taking necessary details about the guest.

Check in of the guest refers to the process of registration of the guest and assignment of room after veryfing the guest details and method of payment different step involved are as:
Check out procedure
1.Guest calls the bell informing his/her intention to check out.
2.Bell caption takes down the room numbers on the departure errand card and gives to reception to precede guest bills.
3.Bell boy reports to the guest room and knocks the door annoucing ''Bell boy''
4.Wishes the guest and collect the luggage and check around the room.
5.Collects the room key and lead the way allowing the guest to lead the way.
6.The loggage is taken to the bell desk while the guest checks out process.
7.In cash of the amenities missing the room bell boy informs in the front office desk.
8.The bell boy will receive on outhorization from the front office cashier after the bills is settled.
9.Baggage is taken out and loaded to the vehicle.
10.Bell boy vishes the guest and return to the bell desk.

Checking producer

checkin of the guest refers to the process of refers to the process of registration of the guest and assingnment of room after veryfing the guest details and method of payment different step involved are as follow:
1.On arrival of attandant singnals the bell boy in the bell desk
2.Bell boy aproach the vechicle and wish the guest
3.Remove and collet the buggage and bring it to the keep bell desk
4.Luggage tays are attacbed to the iuggage bellboy wait for the guest until the guest finisher the formalities at the reception
5.Once the guest checksin they will be avotted a room by the receptionist and hand over the guest room key along with errand card to the bell boy.
6.The bell boy will lead the guest to the assigned room with luggage
7.The door is opened by the bell boy
8.The luggage will be placed on the luggage rack
9.Then bell boy explain the guest aboyt room for eg lighting
10.Offer any other helps to the guest if not required wish a pleasant stay and leave the room
11.Do not wait for the tips get back to the bell desk hand over the errand card to the bell caption.

Lobbey

It is located at the front part of the hotel .it is an open area space with sitting arrangements who for the visitors and guests who arrive to  the hotel .it acts as the first point of  contact to the guest during arrival and as last point of contact during the guest departure. It is handled by lobby manager followed by guest reiation executive. It is also handled by the bell desk operation.The main funcation of GRE to handle the VIP and CIP during and facilities the gust services.
Room:Generally we define room as a safe place closed by walls windows and doors to spend a day and night for sleep with proper  security.In hotel room means a lot to a guest such as confort safe clean and hygenic hence the guest demands the highest standard in everythings that the room stand for the guest.All the rooms are numdered systematically .first digit in a room number indicates on which the floor is situated for eg there are 25 room in a floor Room No 625 indicates 25th room on 6th floor.
Types of room
1.single room:It is room assinged for single person and consists on single size of bed.
2.Double room:It is a room assigned for two person and consists on double size.
3.Triple room:It is room assigned for three person and consists of three  size of bed.
4. Quard room:It is a room assinged four person and consists of four single size of bed.
5.Twin room:It is a room with two single deds of size 36 to 75
6.Queen sized  room:It is a room with queen sized bed
7.King sized room:It is a room room with king sized bed
8.Studio room:a room with a sofa combed which can be converted into a bed during night time and can be used a sofa during day time
9.Suite room:A living room conneected to one or more bed room
10.Mini suite room:A single room with single bed and and a sitting area could have separte living room and bed room
11.Inter connecation:Room with connecting door from  inside
12.Adjoining:A room with a common wall but not connecting door
13.Cabana:Room attached to a swimming poll with sofa combed
14.Pen thouse:It is located on the top of floors of the hotel
15.Lanai:A room with balcony usually over looking garden or water

Front office department

It IS the major department in a hotel which is situated at the front patrt of hotel .It is responsible for the sale of the hotel rooms throutht the systematic method of resevation follow by registration and assingning rooms to the guest .It is the back bone as well as the"Norve centre" of the hotel .The role of front office is to reserve receive register and allocate room to the guest.The major funcation of this depoartment includes settlement of guest account providing guest services preparations of guest history and luggage handling airport pickup etc.
Secation with in front office
1.Reception: Reception is located with the front desk. The main funcation of reception is to welcome receive and register the guest on arrival .It also allocates the room and establishes the rates for different types of guest.
2.Information:It is located at the front desk and responsible for handling the guest's mails and messages .It also handles the indivdual various information's to the guest about the hotels products  and service facilities etc.
3.Cash:It is located at the front desk cash secation is handled by the front office cashier .The main funcation of this secation is to receive payment from guest and to settle the guest's account and responsible for handling various modes of payment booking.
